Mixed Messages: Gaining Media Discernment

Today’s teenagers spend on average 6.5 hours a day engaged with screen media—not including time spent doing homework on a computer. Movies, music, and games are the languages of this generation. How do we make wise, biblical decisions about what to read, watch, and play? What does Scripture say about how we should interact with the good, the bad, and the ugly in our culture? With concrete examples and easy-to-apply principles, this workshop will give you valuable tools that teens and families can use together. You will be challenged to grow in wisdom and grace as you select, analyze, and appreciate movies, books, music, games, and more.
